Youth Mental Health First Aid Training

Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) training equips individuals with the skills to recognize and respond to mental health issues in young people. It provides practical tools for offering immediate support during crises, promoting early intervention, and reducing the stigma surrounding mental health. This training empowers participants to positively impact youth well-being, fostering a supportive environment for those facing mental health or substance use challenges.

Upon completion, you'll receive your certification as a Youth Mental Health First Aider - a crucial role where your actions can make the difference in the lives of the youth around you.

Course Format

  • Blended Learning: Start with a 2-hour self-paced online course.

  • Instructor-Led Training: Follow up with a 5-hour group session led by an Certified MHFA Instructor

  • Post Session Content: Complete the online knowledge check and evaluation.

  • Receive your certification - Become a Certified Youth Mental Health First Aider!
