Where science meets soul
You’re great at showing up for everyone else, but somewhere along the way, your own needs slipped to the bottom of the list. Maybe you’re overwhelmed, stretched thin, or just tired of feeling like you’re operating at 60% of yourself. Wellness coaching with Simply Well is designed for people like you: heart-led individuals who want to feel grounded, confident, and in control of their own energy again.
Wellness coaching blends science-backed tools with genuine human connection to help you build simple, sustainable practices that reconnect you with your confidence, calm, and capacity.
If you’re feeling a tug that says, “This could help” - trust it. Let’s start the conversation!
You’ve got questions. I’ve got answers.
Wellness coaching is a client-centered, collaborative process that empowers individuals to make sustainable, positive changes in their lives. It involves partnering with clients to set meaningful goals, explore their strengths and barriers, and develop personalized strategies to improve their overall well-being. By taking a holistic approach, wellness coaching supports clients in creating lasting habits, enhancing self-efficacy, and implementing self-care strategies. The coaching process is rooted in evidence-based practices and behavior change theories.
Wellness Coaching is not a substitute for medical treatment or mental health care, but it can complement and support these services.
Wellness Coaching can be done individually, through 1:1 Wellness Coaching, or with others through Group Wellness Coaching.
Nope! Entirely different process here.
Wellness coaches do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Unlike therapy, which often involves healing past wounds, coaching focuses on the present and future—building habits and skills to enhance your current state of well-being. Wellness coaching helps bridge the gap between where you are now and where you want to be.
If common mental health conditions (anxiety, depression) are getting in the way of your day-to-day, we suggest first connecting with a mental health professional prior to seeking out wellness coaching support.
I tend to support compassionate, heart-led individuals: the givers, helpers, and do-ers who show up for everyone else but end up running on fumes themselves.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, stretched thin, or ready to feel more grounded and in control again, coaching can be a great fit.
Additionally, I have vast experience and passion for working with young adults; the college students, the 20-somethings trying to "figure it all out" while caring for themselves.
Each session is an opportunity to meet you where you are at. You can anticipate a mix of:
honest conversation
reflection and insight
practical tools based in behavioral science
emotional regulation strategies
co-creation of small, meaningful steps that feel doable
You leave with clarity, a plan, and support; not homework that you'll dread.
Absolutely not.
Many people come in feeling unclear or overwhelmed. Part of my role is helping you sort through the noise, identify what feels most important, and create next steps that feel grounded and achievable.
Some common themes include:
stress, burnout, and emotional overwhelm
confidence and self-compassion
building routines that actually stick
sleep, energy, and overall wellbeing
boundaries and communication
reconnecting with your needs, values, and strengths
If it matters to you, it matters here.
Because we don't force change... we build it with your real life in mind. We'll explore the meaning behind the change, and focus on WHY this change is important, rather than simply what the change looks like.
I use evidence-based methods around motivation, habit formation, self-efficacy, and behavior change. Together we remove barriers, build confidence, and create momentum so change feels natural instead of exhausting.
The consultation is a relaxed, no-pressure conversation. We'll talk about what's going well for you, what you're hoping to feel or experience, and whether coaching would genuinely support you. You'll leave with clarity, not a sales pitch.
Completely.
Many people feel nervous about investing in themselves, especially if they're used to taking care of everyone else first. Your brain is wired to stick with what feels familiar, even if it's not serving you. But investing in yourself is an act of courage; it says, “My needs matter, too.” When you have more capacity, clarity, and confidence, everything in your life benefits: your relationships, your work, your energy, your ability to show up fully.
Yes. You can meet with me from anywhere; all you need is a quiet space and a device with audio/video.
Prefer in-person? Great; I have a cozy office in Exeter (see photos below).
