Wild & Well Retreat: Policies & Informed Participation

Cancellation Policy

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. Please read and understand our cancellation policy carefully.

  • ​Non-Refundable Deposit: The initial deposit is non-refundable.

  • Partial Refund Option:

    • If you cancel your reservation 90 days or more prior to the retreat start date, you will receive a refund of all payments made, minus the non-refundable deposit.

    • If you cancel between 60-89 days prior to the retreat start date, you will receive a 50% refund of all payments made, minus the non-refundable deposit.

    • Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the retreat start date are non-refundable.

  • Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect your investment in case of unexpected events, including but not limited to illness, injury, personal emergencies, or weather-related disruptions.

  • No Exceptions: We regret that exceptions to this policy cannot be made for any reason. This includes, but is not limited to, illness, injury, personal emergencies, weather conditions, or travel delays. No refunds or credits will be issued for failure to attend, failure to complete the retreat, late arrival, or early departure.

  • Retreat Cancellation by Organizer: We reserve the right to cancel a retreat due to insufficient participant enrollment. In such cases, all payments received will be refunded in full. Notification of cancellation will be provided at least 60 days (2 months) prior to the retreat's scheduled start date.

  • Liability: We are not responsible for any personal expenses incurred due to changes in itineraries or retreat cancellations, including but not limited to airline tickets, travel arrangements, or other related costs.

  • Itinerary Changes: Retreat itineraries are subject to change due to weather conditions, unforeseen circumstances, or changes implemented by excursion providers. We will make every effort to provide a similar experience if changes become necessary.
     

Liability and Informed Participation

  • Physical Activity & Personal Responsibility: This retreat involves physical activities, including nature walks and yoga.  Participants must be in adequate physical condition to participate in these activities. By registering, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for assessing your fitness level and participating within your capabilities.

  • Assumption of Risk: You understand and acknowledge that participation in hiking, yoga, meditation, hydrotherapy, and other retreat activities carries inherent risks. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with these activities, including but not limited to, heat exhaustion, injury, or other health-related issues.

  • Personal Insurance: It is your responsibility to ensure you have adequate personal insurance coverage, including but not limited to, health insurance and travel insurance, prior to the retreat. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance to protect your health, well-being, and investment from unforeseen circumstances before or during the retreat.

  • Release of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, you hereby release Begin Again Wellness, its organizers, instructors, and affiliates from any and all liability for any injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from your participation in the retreat.

  • Essential Travel Insurance: Protect your health, well-being, and investment by purchasing comprehensive travel insurance, including trip cancellation and medical coverage, at the time of booking. We highly recommend this to safeguard against unforeseen circumstances. Suggested providers include World Nomads, AAA, or consult your travel agent.

  • This is a substance-free retreat. No alcohol, tobacco, nicotine, cannabis, etc. are permitted.
